  • Publication number: 20170016235
Abstract: A panel having a pair of complementary locking elements at mutually opposite panel edges. The locking elements are positively locking holding profiles with a locking groove and a complementary locking tongue respectively. At least at the edge of one of the holding profiles the panel surface has an edge break portion. The holding profile provided with the edge break portion has an upper contact surface beneath the edge break portion and the complementary holding profile has a complementary upper contact surface arranged substantially parallel thereto. A butt joint is produced by contact of two contact surfaces. The butt joint is inclined relative to the panel surface. One of the contact surfaces is associated with a tongue and is inclined downwardly toward the free end of the tongue in question and the complementary upper contact surface is associated with a groove and is inclined downwardly toward the bottom of the groove.

  • Patent number: 9175475
Abstract: The invention relates to a panel with complementary locking means provided in pairs on opposite panel edges. One of the locking means is hook profiles with a receiving hook and a locking hook. The fee step end of the locking hook is designed narrower than the width of the receiving opening of the receiving hook. The locking contour of the locking hook protrudes at least partially past the plane of the joint surface of the receiving hook so that the free step end fits into the receiving opening far enough at first that a part of the horizontal locking surface of the locking hook makes contact with the horizontal locking surface of the receiving hook during a joining motion without elastic deformation of the hook profiles, and that the receiving hook bends so that the width of the receiving opening con be expanded so that the locking step can be inserted entirely I to the receiving recess and the locking contour of the locking hook is further inserted into a form-fit contour of the receiving hook.

  • Patent number: 8966853
Abstract: A fastening system for floor panels, which has profiles on small faces of the panels. Opposite retaining profiles match so that similar panels can be interlinked. The panels have opposite first retaining profiles configured so on a panel in first line, a new panel can be locked in second line by attaching the new panel to the installed panel at an angle relative to the installed panel and then swiveling it down into the plane of the installed panel. The panel has opposite second retaining elements that have corresponding hook elements. A hook connection can be established by a hook element of the new panel and hook element of a panel already installed in second line by swiveling the new panel. Every hook connection is associated with an additional locking element that prevents the release of the hook connection in a direction perpendicular to the plane of the installed panels.
