  • Patent number: 7808183
Abstract: An arrangement for the regulation of the electron beam power of an electron gun, which comprises a filament cathode, a block cathode and an anode. Between the filament cathode and the block cathode is applied a first voltage, while between the block cathode and the anode a second voltage is applied. With the aid of a first closed-loop regulated system the filament cathode is regulated to a constant current value, which has a filament temperature sufficient for the maximum beam power of the block cathode. A second closed-loop regulated system, such including a block power regulator, which is acted upon by the difference between instantaneous block power value and nominal block power value, regulates the voltage between the filament cathode and the block cathode.

  • Patent number: 7484607
Abstract: A torsional vibration damper in a gearbox housing has an input part connected to a drive and acts on a first damping unit and an intermediate part which acts as the output of the first damping unit and as the input of a second damping unit. The torsional vibration damper further has an output part which is in working connection with the second damping unit and which is designed to accept a takeoff. Takeoff-side drive elements of the intermediate part, the second damping unit, and the takeoff are mounted in a torque-transmitting space of a clutch device, which space is provided with at least one inlet and at least one outlet. A sealing wall separates the torque-transmitting space from a damping space including the first damping unit.

  • Patent number: 7287443
Abstract: A motor vehicle includes a drive train having a drive unit, a gearbox having a first gearbox input shaft and a second gearbox input shaft, and a clutch having a first clutch device which is associated with the first gearbox input shaft, and a second clutch device which is associated with the second gearbox input shaft, for transferring torque between the drive unit and the gearbox. The first and second clutch devices are plate clutches to which an operating fluid, such as a cooling oil, is supplied to operate the same. The gearbox is associated with an actuator device and a control device for controlling the actuator device, the arrangement of which enables the gears associated with the first and second gearbox input shafts to be engaged and disengaged. The control device is designed such that at least one gear is automatically engaged by the actuator device, as a result of the clutch release of the vehicle.

  • Patent number: 7207922
Abstract: A power train for a motor vehicle is configured with a control unit operable to increase or decrease the flow of operating fluid as a function of the instantaneous demand for the supply of the operating fluid to at least one of multiple clutch arrangements in such a way that the control unit decreases or interrupts the flow of operating fluid when the supply demand is low and increases the flow of operating fluid unit when the supply demand is high.

  • Patent number: 6951526
Abstract: A power train for a motor vehicle includes a drive unit, a gearbox having first and second input shafts, and a clutch having first and second multi-disk clutch arrangements assigned to respective input shafts for transferring torque between the drive unit and the gearbox. An operating fluid, especially a cooling oil, is supplied to the clutch arrangements for operation under action of the fluid. An actuator arrangement is assigned to the gearbox for engaging and disengaging gears assigned to the first and second input shafts, and a control unit controls the actuator arrangement so that at least one gear is automatically engaged when the clutch is released.

  • Patent number: 6789658
Abstract: A clutch system includes a clutch device with at least one clutch arrangement for installation in a motor vehicle drive train between a drive unit and a transmission. The at least one clutch arrangement is actuated by a slave cylinder using a pressure medium which is supplied to the clutch device by a first pump. A further medium is also supplied to the clutch device by a second pump arrangement as an operating medium used during operation of the clutch device. • Patent number: 6575873
Abstract: A method for driving a drive assembly in a drive system having an automatic transmission and an automatic clutch optionally coupling the drive assembly to the automatic transmission in order to transmit torque includes the following steps. Sensing whether a procedure, in particular a gearshift operation, is to be conducted. After the procedure has been sensed, predefining, for at least one time segment of the procedure which is to be carried out a prediction profile for an operational variable that characterizes the operating state of the drive assembly. And, driving the drive assembly based on the predefined prediction profile of the operational variable to minimize a deviation between the operational variable and the prediction profile.

  • Patent number: 5307610
Abstract: In order to be able to produce packages economically and when the package design results in undercuts being provided in a deep-drawing tool for its manufacture, a simple and practical solution for the movement of the lower parts in each of the required work stations is advantageous. These lower parts are generally vertically movable in order to be able to easily open the mold. An inclined opening of the mold or rather removal of the lower part is achieved according to the invention in such a manner that between the lower part of the tool and the lifting device for facilitating its vertical movement there is provided a carriage guide which enables also an easy horizontal movement. A guide pin fastened on the carriage guide is part of a guide system which controls a desired forced inclined guided opening of the mold. The guide system can be used in deep-drawing tools, sealing tools and similar ones.
