Abstract: The invention relates to an adapter (1) for aerosol cans, particularly for discharging mounting foams, said adapter comprising a receiving device (2) for the valve of the aerosol can, a conveying tube (3) for can content to be discharged which is arranged at the receiving device (2), a connection (4) on the conveying tube (3) to accommodate a trunk (16) used to enable the can content to be discharged in a well-aimed manner, a handle (5) to actuate the receiving device (2) counter to the valve of the can as well as holding means (6) for fixing the adapter to a crimping lip of the dome (15) of the can, with the receiving device (2) interacting with and having a sealing effect on the valve disk of the aerosol can and the receiving device (2) being flexibly integrated into the adapter (1).

Abstract: The invention relates to a pressurized can comprising a body, a valve arranged in a dome, a base (16), an inner shell (1) with detachable, push-off type cover (8) arranged on the base (16) and a movable shaft (7) arranged in a fixing element (2) and extending through the base (16) into the inner shell (1) and serving as release element for the inner shell with the inner shell (1) being connected to the base (16) via the fixing element (2), moreover comprising a piston element (3) movable in longitudinal direction of the inner shell (1) and being arranged inside the inner shell (1), the piston element yielding a sealing effect at the inner shell's (1) inner wall and interacting with the shaft (7) in such a manner that when the shaft (7) is moved into the inner shell (1) the piston element (3) causes a liquid present inside the inner shell (1) to be pressurized so that the cover (8) is forced off.

Abstract: The invention relates to a molding composition for producing casting molds for the foundry industry, comprising at least: a refractory mold material; a binder for curing the molding composition; a proportion of a borosilicate glass. The invention further relates to a process for producing a molding from the molding composition of the invention, the corresponding casting mold or the corresponding molding and also their use in metal casting.
