  • Patent number: 4800918
Abstract: A tube separator (1) having a shut-off means for separating an inlet side (2) from an outlet side (3) is provided. In order to prevent flutter of the shut-off means (4) in a pressure region changing over the shut-off means, a control valve (10) controlling the shut-off means (4) is provided. The control valve (10) is designed such that the pressure required for changing over from a first opened position to a second shut-off position is smaller than the pressure for changing over from the second into the first position.

  • Patent number: 4776771
Abstract: A self-aspirating and self-bleeding metering pump comprises a metering chamber having an inlet connected with a predelivery chamber and an outlet connected with a metering point. The predelivery chamber is connected with a metering agent tank through a suction conduit comprising a suction valve and a return conduit comprising a head valve. Furthermore, a diaphragm for predelivering into the predelivery chamber is provided. A metering section of the diaphragm cooperates with the metering chamber for performing the metering stroke and comprises a separate drive serving this purpose. In this manner dynamically stressed sealing members are avoided, whereby the self-aspirating and self-bleeding metering pump is resistent also to the metering of aggressive media.

  • Patent number: 4595031
Abstract: A tube separator (1) is provided comprising a housing (2) with inlet connection (13) and outlet connection (14) and a member (37) being disposed within the housing (2) and slidable between a first and a second end position. The member (37) comprises a channel (49) extending from an entrance opening (55) to an exit opening (56) and an area (40') on which the pressure in the inlet connection may act upon. Furthermore, a spring (46) acts upon the member (37) in a direction opposite to the action of the inlet pressure. The channel (49) forms a connection between the inlet connection (13) and the outlet connection (14) in the first end position of the member (37), and the member (37) separates the inlet connection (13) from the outlet connection (14) in the second end position of the member (37). The entrance opening (55) and the exit opening (56) each comprise a straight secant, and their respective secants being parallel to each other.

  • Patent number: 4554939
Abstract: A mobile metering apparatus is provided for metering into a liquid stream or flow an agent which is to be metered or dosed in a quantitative proportional relationship. The metering apparatus contains liquid meter through which passes the liquid flow and a metering pump connectable to a dosing agent reservoir on the input side thereof and to a metering location at the output side thereof. The metering pump meters the agent from the reservoir into the liquid flow as a function of signals supplied by the liquid meter. The liquid meter is installed in a short conduit portion provided with an inflow connection and an outflow connection. The short conduit portion, liquid meter and metering pump are mounted at a supporting frame enclosing the aforementioned members on all sides. The drive of the metering pump is accomplished by the pressure of the liquid flow.

  • Patent number: 4538096
Abstract: A speed control circuit for a DC motor has a phase comparator to which is supplied a theoretical frequency, emitted by a clock pulse generator, and an actual frequency, emitted from a pulse transmitter connected to the drive shaft of the motor. A first rotation direction signal, obtained from a rotation direction indicator, and a second rotation direction signal, obtained from the comparator, are combined in a logic element, the output of which is supplied to a drive circuit for driving the DC motor. A reference voltage is also supplied to the drive circuit, the reference voltage being obtained from another output of the comparator and supplied to the drive circuit through a filter. The reference voltage is a DC voltage which is proportional to the amount of phase deviation detected by the comparator. This reference voltage is utilized by the drive circuit to set the proportional value of the current supplied to the DC motor.
