  • Patent number: 5954077
Abstract: A tent pole base bracket (10) having at its outer end (18) a termination hook (24) for receiving attachment of common tent options like canopies, tarpaulins, and rain flies. The preferred form of the bracket (10) has a pass through slot (30) located at its inner end (20) for accepting a web strap from a tent wall, which may be permanently or temporarily attached to the bracket (10). Roughly central to the bracket (10) a pole orifice (34) is provided for receiving the end of a tent pole. The bracket (10) may have a base curved shape (38) to permit it to rock into a position that optimally handles stresses received concurrently from tent wall fabric, a tent pole, and an attached canopy. Further, the bracket (10) may be constructed so that a defined pole axis (40) and a defined hook axis (42) may be substantially parallel in use of the bracket (10).

  • Patent number: 5373980
Abstract: A camera lens case (10) is provided, having a generally tubular case body (4) with a plurality of adjustment strap assemblies (18) attached thereto such that the case body (14) may be constricted inward so as to closely support lenses (12, 54, 56 contained therein even when the lenses (12, 54, 56 may differ as to size or shape, or when the lenses are of irregular shape. A case lid (16) is flexibly attached to the case body (14) for securing the lenses (12, 54, 56 within the lens case (10) and a zipper (48) is provided for holding the case lid (16) closed. A belt loop (52) is provided for optionally carrying the camera lens case (10) thereby. The camera lens case (10 ) may optionally be used as a divider within a larger conventional camera bag (60).

  • Patent number: 5205448
Abstract: A camera and photographic equipment transport system (10) is provided, having a camera bag assembly (12) and a removable belt assembly (14) for transporting the camera bag assembly (12) about a user's waist. The camera bag assembly (12) has a main enclosure (16) with a lid flap (42) which opens away from the user for providing unobstructed access to the main enclosure (16). An attachment strap (78) is threaded through a plurality of supporting loops (38, 76) for firmly attaching the camera bag assembly (12) to the belt assembly (14), and Velcro panels (40, 74) are provided for preventing shifting therebetween. A pair of attachment terminating straps (30) further attaches the camera bag assembly (12) to the belt assembly (14). The camera bag assembly (12) is prevented from sagging by a reinforcement plate (36) within a back wall (34) of the camera bag assembly (12). A plurality of dividers (120), (122) are optionally provided for compartmentalizing the main enclosure (14).

  • Patent number: 5172838
Abstract: A camera carrier (10) is provided, having a camera case assembly (14) with a belt assembly (18) attached thereto. The belt assembly (18) is adapted to be worn about either a photographer's chest or waist. A case lid (16) is removably attached to the camera case assembly (14). A pair of adjustment strap assemblies (42) can be adjusted by means of a pair of double "D" ring assemblies (52) to cause the camera case assembly (14) to closely support a great variety of sizes of cameras (12). A pair of recessed areas (66) in the case lid (16) permit a neck strap (68) to be worn on the camera (12) and to protrude from the camera case assembly (14) even when the case lid (16) is closed such that the neck strap (68) may be worn around the photographer's neck when the camera carrier (10) is worn about the photographer's chest. The camera carrier (10) may optionally be used as a divider within a larger conventional camera bag (84).
