The plug connector having a current-carrying lead (3, 5) has a sealing device (36) having a sealing body (66). Said sealing body has an elastically deformable sealing part (71) that can be elastically deformed by means of a wedge-type slider (77). The wedge-type slider (77) has a conical face (82) that interacts with a conical face (76) of the sealing part (71).
