  • Publication number: 20040049863
Abstract: The present invention relates to a process for the trichromatic dyeing or printing of natural or synthetic polyamide fibres or such fibres as contain polyamide with dye mixtures and also to such dye mixtures and polyamide fibres dyed or printed therewith.
    Type: Application
    Filed: June 3, 2003
    Publication date: March 18, 2004
    Inventors: Hans-Peter Stakelbeck, Georg Schofberger
  • Patent number: 4503191
Abstract: Textile materials, preferably carpets, are backsized with a composition comprising(a) a natural or synthetic polymeric latex(b) a filler, and(c) a fixing agent for anionic dyestuffs. The resulting textile materials are fast to water spotting.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: November 7, 1983
Date of Patent: March 5, 1985
    Assignee: Sandoz Ltd.
    Inventor: Hans-Peter Stakelbeck
  • Patent number: 4496364
Abstract: A process for dyeing a voluminous flat form polyamide substrate with anionic dyestuffs according to the cold pad-batch method, which process comprises the step of selecting the initial pH of the dyeing liquor within a range depending on the affinity of the substrate for anionic dyestuffs and the molecular weight of the anionic dyestuffs so as to give a substantial linear exhaustion of the dyeing liquor, the dyeing liquor being free from a thickening, swelling or foaming agent.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: April 25, 1983
Date of Patent: January 29, 1985
    Assignee: Sandoz Ltd.
    Inventor: Hans-Peter Stakelbeck
  • Patent number: 4410330
Abstract: A process for dyeing a voluminous flat form anionic dyeable substrate, for example a carpet, comprises applying locally to said substrate one or more dyes, optical brightening agents and/or reserving agents having low migration properties followed by pre-fixation of the same, subsequently dyeing the treated substrate in a short bath with one or more dyestuffs having better migration properties, rolling up the substrate and rotating the rolled-up substrate under conditions to effect fixation of the dyestuffs.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: January 12, 1981
Date of Patent: October 18, 1983
    Assignee: Sandoz, Ltd.
    Inventors: Hans-Peter Stakelbeck, Rudolf Sommerhalder
  • Patent number: 4164050
Abstract: Disclosed is a textile treatment process wherein a substrate is supported on one or more arms above a treatment liquor and is passed repeatedly through such liquor, characterised in that at least a part of that part of the substrate supported on the arm or arms and out of contact with the treatment liquor at any given time is heated employing heated air or steam, and that the liquor to goods ratio is in the range of from 5:1 to 15:1, and an apparatus suitable for performing such process.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: November 9, 1977
Date of Patent: August 14, 1979
    Assignee: Sandoz Ltd.
