In an embodiment avionics functions (e.g., ADS-B functions) are integrated by (1) receiving input from at least one avionics function module that executes at least one avionics function; (2) determining which of the avionics functions to allow to be engaged simultaneously, based on at different factors. In addition, embodiments select from different algorithms for the connected avionics functions.
