Abstract: A control and a method for controlling a cooking device, which is adapted to carry out cooking programs. The control includes a selection element for selecting a cooking program, a first input element for inputting the amount of cooking desired, a processing unit which modifies a parameter of the cooking program depending on the amount of cooking desired, the control controlling the cooking device in accordance with the cooking program modified by the parameter. The cooking program depends on a plurality of modifiable parameters and the processing unit determines from the plurality of parameters the parameters to be modified subject to the selected cooking program and/or subject to the adjusted amount of cooking.

Abstract: A control and a method for controlling a domestic appliance, especially a cooking device, including a display unit for displaying information, the control controlling the display of information on the display unit. The control includes a separate input element for retrieving information so that the user can retrieve the information by actuating the separate input element and the information is then displayed on the display unit. Particularly, the information can be retrieved from different operating states of the domestic appliance.

Abstract: A baking oven including a holding part which is horizontally guided inside a baking chamber and can receive and hold a baking rack. The baking rack can be displaced between a baking position inside the baking chamber and a removed position at least partially in front of and outside of the baking chamber. The holding part includes a pair of retaining elements that are displaceably guided on opposite side walls of the cooking chamber, while being located at a distance from the upper and lower heating elements in the cooking chamber so as not to interfere with the heating elements.

Abstract: A domestic cooking appliance, which can be conveniently controlled. The appliance includes at least one heating element and a control device. The control device with a write unit for logging process parameters in a memory unit and a read unit for reading out the logged process parameters operate together to at least partially control a cooking process in the appliance.
