  • Patent number: 6172150
Abstract: Condensation-crosslinking, room-temperature vulcanizing silicone rubber compositions A which contain additives B selected from the group consisting of sterically hindered phenols, sterically hindered bisphenols, sterically hindered thiobisphenols, zinc dialkyl dithiophosphates, zinc diaryl dithiophosphates, aromatic amines, sterically hindered amines or preparations containing the abovementioned substances, these additives optionally being present in the compositions A either individually or in any mixtures and mixing ratios with respect to one another.

  • Patent number: 4649066
Abstract: The present invention relates to a corrosion resistant coating for metal reinforcing structures that are used in porous concrete which comprises coating the metal reinforcing structures with an organopolysiloxane elastomer obtained by crosslinking a diorganopolysiloxane-based composition by the condensation reaction or by the addition of Si-bonded hydrogen to an aliphatic carbon-carbon double bond, in which the composition contains a copolymer that is obtained via a free radical copolymerization of styrene and a (meth)acrylic acid ester in the presence of the diorganopolysiloxane.

  • Patent number: 4637958
Abstract: A method for improving the adhesion of elastomers derived from compositions which are crosslinked by a condensation reaction and which are based on diorganopolysiloxanes containing rod-shaped copolymers formed by the free-radical copolymerization of styrene and (meth)acrylic acid ester in the presence of the diorganopolysiloxanes, to an undercoating consisting of an epoxy resin and pitch or tar, which comprises applying a primer having SiC-bonded organic groups to the undercoating prior to the application of the crosslinkable composition, in which the primer consists of a solution of(a) a copolymer of a (meth)acrylic acid ester free of silicon atoms and a (meth)acryloxyalkylsilane containing at least one SiOC-bonded monovalent organic group; and(b) a silane which contains a SiC-bonded organic group having at least one amino or imino group and which contains at least one SiOC-bonded monovalent organic group and/or a partial hydrolyzate of such silane in an organic solvent.
