Abstract: The present invention provides a process for producing a molding having a predetermined rupture line (12) for an airbag opening, said process comprising at least two injection molding cycles, wherein initially in a mold (1) with a first mating mold component (3) a support layer (8) is formed and, in a second step, in the same mold (1) with a second mating mold component (13), a decorative layer or foam layer (10) is applied to the support layer (8), into which decorative or foam layer a predetermined rupture line (12) for an airbag opening is introduced during the shaping process by means of a perforation tool (4) integrated into the mold.
