Abstract: Groups are formed from flat articles being supplied in a plurality of supply streams by combining the supply streams to form a group stream, and by separating article groups from the head end of the group stream through clamping and accelerating aligned leading article edge zones. The supply streams are superimposed in at least one combining point, wherein in all streams to be combined and in all superimposed streams the articles are arranged parallel in a direction transverse to the conveying direction, have the same article spacings, and are conveyed at the same speed. Projections of the streams to be combined and of the superimposed streams on a plane parallel to the parallel alignment of the articles run parallel to one another or coincide. Projections of the streams to be combined on a plane transverse to the parallel alignment of the articles run together at an acute angle.

Abstract: A method and a installation for the insertion of supplements into printed products (1) such as newspapers, periodicals, brochures, etc., wherein each single, folded or multi-paged printed product (1) is opened over a fold (8) and a supplement (2) is inserted, wherein a leader edge (9) of the supplement (2) is placed at least near the fold (8), or against the spine respectively, of the printed product (1). Abstract: This invention relates to polyester materials such as polyethylene terephthalate (PET) and products such as bottles, containers, films and sheets made therefrom. The invention includes the use of certain “enaminones” including a preferred class of heterocyclic compounds which are present during melt processing of such polyester materials in order to reduce the content of actealdehyde (AA).
