  • Publication number: 20180321053
Abstract: A method arranges and displays graphic elements of a display of a vehicle navigation system within a display surface, the graphic elements including at least one geographical element and one non-geographical element. The quantity of information that can be directly registered by the driver is increased. The at least one non-geographical element is arranged and displayed within the display surface such that the likelihood of the at least one geographical element being covered by the at least one non-geographical element is minimised and in particular completely avoided.

  • Publication number: 20180135994
Abstract: A method optimizes the cryogenic pressure tank fill level which can be achieved during a refill in a motor vehicle. A heating device for heating a gas in the pressure tank has at least two modes, namely a regular operating mode, in which the heating device heats the gas in the pressure tank such that a specified pressure of the gas in the pressure tank is reached, and a continuous operation mode in which the heating device constantly heats the gas in the pressure tank such that the pressure of the gas in the pressure tank rises above the specified pressure.

  • Patent number: 9821653
Abstract: A pressure vessel is provided for a motor vehicle, having a fastening apparatus. The fastening apparatus is designed to connect the pressure vessel to a body of the motor vehicle. The fastening apparatus has at least two connecting pins and at least two bearings. In each case, one connecting pin is connected to a bearing at a connecting point. The connecting pins and/or the bearings are each connected to the pressure vessel in a pressure vessel attachment region and extend away from the outer surface of the pressure vessel. The pressure vessel attachment regions exhibit in each case an expansion. The connecting pin and the bearing are, in the connecting point, at least regionally shaped and arranged such that the expansion is kinetically guided with only one translational degree of freedom by way of a movement of the bearing and/or of the connecting pin.

  • Publication number: 20170261159
Abstract: A cryogenic pressure container for a motor vehicle has an inner container and an outer container. An evacuated space is arranged between the inner container and the outer container at least in some regions. The inner container has a synthetic material layer. A barrier layer is arranged at least in some regions between the synthetic material layer and the evacuated space. The barrier layer is designed and arranged so as to at least reduce the transfer of constituents leaking out of the synthetic material layer into the evacuated space, wherein a gap is formed at least in some regions between the barrier layer and the synthetic material layer.

  • Publication number: 20170057340
Abstract: A tank device, in particular in a vehicle, has a pressure tank for storing fuel and a fuel line for filling the pressure tank which extends from outside of the pressure tank through a tank opening up to a free line end in the interior of the pressure tank. The fuel line in the pressure tank has at least one line outlet through which the fuel can flow out of the fuel line into the pressure tank. The fuel line, between the tank opening and the free line end, has a flexible line section such that the flexible line section moves when the pressure tank is filled.

  • Patent number: 8651553
Abstract: A tank closure system intended for closing a filling opening of a tank includes a tank cap, which closes the filling opening, and a tank flap, which covers the tank cap. The sides of the tank cap and the tank flap that face each other are designed to engage with one another in a positive locking manner by way of a defined shape, when the tank cap is situated in a predetermined position, in which the filling opening is closed, relative to the tank flap.

  • Patent number: 6700221
Abstract: An electronic unit in a motor vehicle has a connection for the negative onboard power supply voltage and a connection for the positive onboard power supply voltage, as well as an internal electric supply unit that can be used independently of the polarity of the onboard power supply voltage and independently of the onboard power supply voltage. The unit includes a function block which compares the actual voltage at the connection for the negative onboard power supply voltage with the actual voltage at the connection for the positive onboard power supply voltage. A polarity inversion of the onboard power supply voltage is detected (and a storage of the polarity inversion detection data is caused) if the actual voltage at the connection for the negative onboard power supply voltage is higher than the actual voltage at the connection for the positive power supply voltage, or if the respective actual voltages exceed preset reference values.
