  • Patent number: 8381702
Abstract: A load adjustment device for an actuator that determines the power of an internal combustion engine, designed as a throttle valve and is disposed on an actuator shaft in a housing, the actuator shaft being pivotally drivable about the rotary axis of the actuator shaft between a minimal load setting defined by a minimal load stop and a full load setting defined by a full load stop by means of a reversibly drivable actuating drive via an actuating part rotationally fixed to said shaft. The actuator shaft is subject to a load in the minimum load direction by a restoring spring. The actuating part can be subjected to a load by a leg of a torsion spring disposed radially outside the pivoting range of the part, the leg of the torsion spring extending into the pivoting range of the actuating part.

  • Patent number: 6945513
Abstract: The present invention relates to a throttle valve arrangement for closing a through flow in a throttle valve connection piece, including a pivotably actuated throttle valve shaft which is mounted in the opening in a perpendicular position with respect to the longitudinal extension thereof projecting into the housing of the throttle valve connection piece with the free end thereof. The through flow opening can be closed by a throttle valve which is firmly connected to the throttle valve shaft. The throttle valve comprises a continuous receiving opening extending on the plane thereof in a perpendicular position with respect to the opening and through which the throttle valve shaft is guided. Additionally, a recess is formed in the throttle valve, extending form the through opening to the receiving opening in the area where the throttle valve is connected to the throttle valve shaft by means of a welded connection.

  • Patent number: 6781275
Abstract: A carbon brush spring system comprises a carbon brush arranged at a first terminal surface thereof conductively contacting a rotatable collector body (20) for electric current transfer. The system furthermore comprises a spring part arranged at a region of the carbon brush away from the first terminal surface to engage with the carbon brush for therewith establishing a current conductive interconnection to an external electric facility. The system furthermore comprises mechanical stabilizing arranged for maintaining a stable position of the carbon brush relative to the rotatable collector body in both radial and tangential directions in a housing. Particularly, the system has a substantially symmetric structure in tangential direction of rotation, through being provided with a first section (30,36) and a second section (29, 38) that collectively constitute the spring part. Furthermore, a carbon brush part (22, 24) is structurally fixed to the spring part.

  • Patent number: 6175176
Abstract: An electric motor with a stator having two magnetic shells (2, 3) has a spring element (6) which prestresses the magnetic shells (2, 3) against a stop fixed to the housing. The spring element (6) bears on both magnetic shells (2, 3) with in each case two bearing points. The spring element (6) has a particularly low spring stiffness as a result of this.

  • Patent number: 4572478
Abstract: A throttle valve 4 is pivotally mounted about a shaft 3 within a connection-piece housing of a throttle-valve connection piece. In order to reduce the air leakage rate, means are provided for eddying the leakage air which, when the throttle valve is closed, passes between it and the wall of the bore of the connection-piece housing. The connection-piece housing preferably has two bores which open into each other forming a crescent-shaped step, against which the throttle valve rests in the closed position and a reduction in cross section on one side in the bore of the connection-piece housing is provided by an arcuate transition to the bore of smaller diameter and the crescent-shaped step is located on the opposite side.
