  • Patent number: 4604255
Abstract: With the fabrication method and apparatus for the performance of such method, a blank containing hollow spaces extending between its lower side and its upper side is arranged in a mold closed at least at five sides and expanded. The blank is arranged in a mold box, whose area in plan view is larger than the plan view area of the blank. The space between the blank and the mold box wall and possibly hollow spaces which are retained in the blank are filled with a granular filler material, for instance sand, which is trickleable at least during the mold release of the expanded blank. In this way there is ensured for a simple and positive mold release and a protection of the mold box. The molded body can have different constructions and serve the most different purposes. The molded body is preferably constructed as a lightweight structural element for construction purposes.

  • Patent number: 4312164
Abstract: An insulating bonded masonry or brickwork contains insulating layers formed of insulating material in the vertical joints disposed parallel to the brickwork plane between the bricks. These insulating layers extend at least at one bearing or support joint up to the neighboring bricks. The bricks neighboring the insulating layers in vertical direction possess continuous holes extending from bearing side to bearing side. To improve the insulating properties of the bonded masonry or brickwork at least the holes neighboring the insulating layers are filled with insulating material and the insulating layer is connected at least at one bearing side with the insulating material of the bricks.

  • Patent number: 3958382
Abstract: An anchor for interconnecting two relatively movable components of a structure, comprising two anchoring elements which are hingedly connected with one another through the agency of a connection element serving as a compensation component, the two anchoring elements in the traction direction bearing against fixed stops of the connection element. The anchoring elements are held at the stops by means of a support device. When the anchor is not under load the anchoring elements are aligned coaxially relative to one another by means of an aligning device.
