  • Patent number: 7178551
Abstract: A valve for fitting to a container, in particular a bottle, in which a pressure has accrued, comprising a valve housing in which at least one valve seat is provided. A valve seat, independent of the bottle pressure is located between a piston and the bottle contents and connected to the piston, whereby the other side of the piston is pressurized by an energy store, the force of which is adjustable.

Abstract: The invention relates to a valve for fitting to a to a container, in particular a bottle, in which a pressure has accrued, comprising a valve housing (1) in which at least one valve seat (23, 24) is provided. A valve seat (23, 24), independent of the bottle pressure is located between a piston (28) and the bottle contents and connected to said piston (38), whereby the other side of said piston (28) is pressurised by an energy store (39), the force of which is adjustable. A valve for fitting to a container, in particular a bottle, in which a pressure has accrued, comprising a valve housing in which at least one valve seat is provided. A valve seat, independent of the bottle pressure is located between a piston and the bottle contents and connected to the piston, whereby the other side of the piston is pressurized by an energy store, the force of which is adjustable.

  • Patent number: 6056275
Abstract: In a device for introducing gases into liquids, in particular water, at least one prefilter being incorporated into the liquid feed, followed by an atomization device with a connection to a gas supply, and at least one further postfilter being incorporated between the atomization device and a storage container, the filters, the atomization device and the storage container are combined in a modular design to form a compact installation.

  • Patent number: 4735019
Abstract: The grinding head has a bar-like member, on whose free end is mounted a grinding tool with a grinding wheel spindle arranged at right angles to the longitudinal axis of the bar-like member. The grinding tool is driven by means of a work gear and a driving shaft, which is driven by means of a coupling with a motor. The motor is mounted in a casing, which is shaped onto the mounting flange. The grinding head can be vertically or horizontally arranged in the grinding or milling machine. Due to the fact that the grinding tool has a larger diameter than that of the bar-like member, facing groove sides in bores can be worked in one setting, so that the complete working operation is made faster due to the few idle strokes and simultaneously precision is increased.

  • Patent number: 4718337
Abstract: The apparatus comprises a plurality of stages having screw presses, the material passing out from the outlet side of the stages being passed by a transfer duct to the inlet side of the following stage. Each stage has a speed adjustable independently of the speed of the other stages. Compared with known screw presses, the advantage exists that following each treatment in a stage, by means of an opening in the transfer duct, the material can be measured, checked or subjected to an additional treatment. The number of stages can also be adapted to the material being processed and there is also a relatively large freedom with regards to the arrangement of the apparatus.

  • Patent number: 4712770
Abstract: A tensioning device has a worm gear mounted in a hollow section enabling the longitudinal displacement of a lift member with respect to a hollow section. The hollow section base and the lift member in each case carry a joint bolt, which cooperates with joint heads fixed to the adjustment means. The worm gear permits a very sensitive and exact setting of the spacing between the two joint bolts, which remains unchanged over a long period. In addition, the tensioning device is particularly suitable for orthopedic purposes, due to its small constructional volume.

  • Patent number: 4439075
Abstract: A toolholder for a rotary tool has a driving part adapted to be coupled to a machine spindle and a driven part in which a cutting tool may be mounted along a tool axis. The driving part and the driven part are coupled to permit pivotal movement and lateral movement perpendicular to the tool axis by a joint mechanism. This joint mechanism includes a substantially spherically shaped recess in which a substantially spherically shaped body is mounted for pivotal movement to all sides.

  • Patent number: 4385729
Abstract: In a housing (1) having an inlet (3) and an outlet (4), a rotor (20) has been mounted rotatably. The rotor has rows of bristles (25) in axially extending, circularly spaced apart rows. The axes of the inlet radially extending inlet (3) and of the outlet (4) are angularly related relative to each other only so far that at least two rows of bristles fit against the inside lying peripheral wall (2) and thus guarantee a good seal of the spreading device. The shaft (22) of the rotor (20) is coupled with the drive shaft (31) of an electromotor (30) by means of a coupling (32) which in the direction of rotational torque is resilient or elastic, in order to keep the starting load of the motor (30) low. The electromotor (30) is entirely capsulated and is surrounded by a housing (33) which is connected with the housing (1). At the point of connection, a sleeve (34) provides a hermetic seal.

  • Patent number: 4106205
Abstract: Apparatus for measuring the angle and size of inside and outside chamfers. The apparatus comprises a body having a stop edge with a tongue displaceably mounted to the body, the tongue having a stop edge corresponding to the chamfer angle. Means are provided to releasably clamp the tongue in place with respect to the body.
