Abstract: Elastic molded articles having a closed surface layer are made from polyurea elastomers by the reaction injection molding technique. These polyurea elastomers are prepared from a polyisocyanate in which all of the isocyanate groups are aromatically bound, a polyether and a diamine. The polyether has at least two isocyanate-reactive groups and a molecular weight from 1800 to 12,000. At least 50% of the isocyanate-reactive groups in the polyether are pjrimary and/or secondary amino groups. The diamine has a molecular weight from 108 to 400 and primary and/or secondary aromatically bound amino groups. Known auxiliary agents and additives may also be employed.

Abstract: A planter formed of concrete or a similar settable material includes an upwardly extending wall having a laterally closed outer surface and an upwardly extending inner surface bounding a hollow space having an upwardly extending axis. Three equiangularly spaced projections are formed on the outer surface of the planter. The outer edge of each projection extends perpendicularly of the projection axis which extends radially outwardly from the axis of the hollow space. Between the projections, the outer surface is formed of concavely shaped circular arcs.

Abstract: The invention relates to a method, and an apparatus, for the production of articles which consist of filler-containing synthetic material, in particular a foam, wherein flowable reactants, at least one of which has previously been charged with filler, are injected into a mixing zone under predetermined injection pressures, wherein the reaction mixture is subsequently introduced into a mold.Cellular materials such as flexible, semi-rigid, rigid or structured foam based, for example, on polyurethane or isocyanurate, and also non-cellular materials such as elastomers, may be produced by methods of this type.
