    Abstract: The present invention relates to an electrically tunable photonic resonator device for a component having a fast and flat actuation response. The photonic resonator device includes at least one optical waveguide with an optical interface for coupling in laser light. The photonic resonator device includes at least one optical resonator including a waveguide made of an optical resonator material. A laser light coupled via the optical waveguide is coupled into at least one optical resonator. The photonic resonator device includes at least one piezo actuator to apply mechanical stress onto the optical resonator. The optical resonator, the piezo actuator, and the optical waveguide are monolithically integrated on a common substrate of the photonic resonator device. The photonic resonator device includes a mechanical mode suppression means configured to attenuate one or more mechanical modes of oscillation caused by an AC operation of the piezo actuator.

The antenna may have a switchable loop path that includes a first path from the second terminal to the first segment, a second path from first segment to a first point on the antenna ground, a portion of the antenna ground from the first point to a second point, and a third path from the second point to the third terminal. The tuning element may selectively activate the switchable loop path to boost performance of the antenna in a frequency band between 3300 MHz and 5000 MHz when needed.

    Abstract: The present disclosure provides a method and a system for quickly determining transient stability of a half-wavelength transmission system. The method includes: obtaining power and a power angle of a feeding-end generator of a half-wavelength transmission system; and determining transient power angle stability and a power angle instability mode of the half-wavelength transmission system by using a constructed index system, where two power angle instability modes, that is, an instability mode 1 and an instability mode 2, are specifically constructed for the half-wavelength transmission system based on an equal area method. Based on the equal area method, the present disclosure constructs two instability modes specific to the half-wavelength transmission system, so as to accurately describe transient power angle characteristics of the half-wavelength transmission system under a severe fault, and characteristics of the two instability modes are significantly different from those of an AC transmission mode.
