    Abstract: A decryption engine includes an update circuit, a key generator, a decryption circuit and a detection circuit. The update circuit generates a first updating information based on a premise of that a currently received frame is encrypted, and generates a second updating information based on a premise of that the currently received frame is non-encrypted. The key generator produces a first key according to the first updating information, and produces a second key according to the second updating information. The decryption circuit generates a first decrypted frame according to the first key and the currently received frame, and generates a second decrypted frame according to the second key and the currently received frame. The detection circuit detects whether the currently received frame is decrypted according to the first decrypted frame and the second decrypted frame, to generate an encryption detection result.

    Abstract: An active image acquisition system and method are introduced. The active image acquisition system retrieves light information of an object for creating an object model. The active image acquisition system includes a processing unit, a light-emitting unit and a capturing unit. The processing unit generates a plurality of modulating signals and a plurality of synchronous signals seriatim. The light emitting unit modulates a first light beam by the modulating signals, and the first light beam is emitted to the object. The object reflects a second light beam after the first light beam incident into the object with the light information. The capturing unit generates an image after capturing the second light beam in each modulating signals modulating the first light beam. The processing unit performs a first algorithm for calculating a plurality of the images and the modulating signals, and creating the object model.

    Abstract: The present invention provides an optical touch display device, an optical touch sensing device, and a method for calculating a touch position. The optical touch sensing device can be detachably attached on a display panel using adhesive or other method. The present invention includes a first light source, a second light source, a light sensing element, and a processing unit. When an object blocks the path of light, some light sensing elements will receive some or no light. The processing unit will then compute two line segments based on the positions of light sensing elements receiving some or no light. The two line segments cross each other and their intersection is defined as the position of object or the touch position.

    Abstract: A vacuum seal suitable for use with field emission arrays is described. This seal has high reliability because the expansion coefficients of the metal and the glass are closely matched. Materials traditionally used for cathode and gate lines continue to be employed. To achieve this, a gap is introduced into each conductive line near the edges of the display. This gap is bridged by a material having an expansion coefficient that more closely matches that of the glass used for the seal and is the only material that contacts the seal. The bridge may be in the form of a deposited layer or it may be a discrete wire. A description of how the structure is manufactured is also provided.

    Abstract: An apparatus and method are disclosed for sensing horizontally and measuring the level or tilt of features on different locations on a wafer in general, and on chip sites, in particular. This is accomplished on a conventional level sensor, modified and improved, however, according to this invention where a new electrically adjustable, two-directional zoom lens is introduced. The adjustable zoom lens provides field-by-field alignment on a stepper, by providing a variable field view and depth of focus on the viewed field. Thus, whereas prior art provides fixed field-by-field local alignment capability over fixed ship sites on a ware, the present invention extend that capability to variable field-by-field alignment over variable sites on a wafer.
