  • Patent number: 7149786
Abstract: Novel configuration preventing collision of data transmissions on data transmission paths. Repeated transmission attempts after said collisions thus become unnecessary. Transmission capacity of the data network can be used optimally resulting in considerably faster control.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: October 4, 1999
Date of Patent: December 12, 2006
    Assignee: Jetter AG
Inventors: Harald Böhringer, Stefan Kaiser, Andreas Kraut, Walter Nehr, Steffen Schwips
  • Patent number: 6047686
Abstract: In a safety device of a fuel system for an internal combustion engine including a fuel filter with a venting nozzle adapted to prevent the discharge of fuel through the venting nozzle of the fuel filter which is connected to a pump line, the safety device which is mounted on the vent nozzle of the fuel filter includes in its housing a semi-permeable foil which is gas permeable but not liquid permeable. The semi-permeable foil extends across the vent nozzle passage and a non-return valve is disposed in the vent nozzle passage for closing the vent nozzle passage if the semi-permeable foil ruptures.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: July 22, 1997
Date of Patent: April 11, 2000
    Assignee: Daimler-Benz AG
    Inventors: Harald Bohringer, Lothar Mauz
  • Patent number: 5040575
Abstract: A fuel tank having a trapping device arranged in its filler pipe for trapping fuel vapors during refuelling which has an internal closure flap which not only closes off an end of the filler pipe but also closes off connection to an activated carbon filter. Insertion of a fuel nozzle opens the flap valve.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: January 23, 1990
Date of Patent: August 20, 1991
    Assignee: Daimler-Benz Aktiengesellschaft
Inventors: Heiner Oeffling, Harald Bohringer, Dieter Scheurenbrand
  • Patent number: 4869283
Abstract: A device for trapping fuel vapors during the refuelling of a fuel tank having a vapor control valve and which during refuelling, is moved into an open position provided outside the tank filler pipe safety valve which closes under the influence of gravity due to certain inclined positions of the fuel tank is connected upstream of the control valve, so that no fuel can escape through the vapor vent line in the case of a crash, even if the control valve no longer closes.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: December 12, 1988
Date of Patent: September 26, 1989
    Assignee: Daimler-Benz Aktiengesellschaft
Inventors: Heiner Oeffling, Harald Bohringer, Dieter Scheurenbrand, Helmut Wawra
