Abstract: A supply tube has a conveying channel of a substantially rectangular cross-section formed therein for successively supplying tablets, pills, capsules, dragées and similar products from a reservoir under the effect of gravity to a receptacle. The conveying channel has several successively arranged sections adjoining one another, wherein successive sections are inclined alternately in different directions with respect to a longitudinal plane of the supply tube thereby enclosing an angle of less than 45° with the longitudinal plane, and wherein the cross-section of the successive sections is distorted by an angle of up to about 90° around the longitudinal plane.

Abstract: The invention relates to a method for transferring products from a supply vessel (1) into the recesses (2) of a conveyed foil (3), whereby transfer recesses (6) are formed in a filling band (4) according to an arrangement, corresponding to one with the recesses (2) in the foil (3) and the endless filling band (4) is positioned on a first and a second deflecting pulley (5), for the consecutive loading of the products from the supply vessel (1), the sorting thereof into the transfer recesses (6) and the transfer thereof into a plurality of placing means (9), by means of which the products are removed from the transfer recesses (6) in a controlled manner and transferred into the recesses (2). The invention also relates to a device for carrying out said method.

Respective guides support the rods for movement parallel to their axes, and a bar extends transversely between the outer ends. An actuator mechanism periodically synchronously rotating the rods. Respective couplings between each of the outer ends and the bar transversely shifting the bar relative to the rods on rotation of the rods.

Abstract: An apparatus for packaging small identical objects in respective pockets of a package strip where the pockets are in a succession of identical arrays has a conveyor extending and displaceable from an upstream loading end to a downstream transfer end and having a plurality of sections each formed with an array of pockets dimensioned to hold a respective one of the objects. The array of each section corresponds to at least two of the arrays of the package strip interleaved with each other so that each section can hold a number of the objects equal to at least twice what one of the arrays of the package strip can hold. The objects are fed to the conveyer at the upstream end ordered such that at the transfer station there is one of the objects in each of the pockets.

Abstract: A press for shaping a workpiece sheet. The press has upper and lower platen holders displaceable vertically toward and away from each other between a closed and an open position, respective upper and lower platens carried on the holders and vertically flanking the workpiece sheet extending horizontally between them, a hold-down plate on one of the platens and having a substantially planar face turned toward the other platen, and a plurality of bars on the other platen having edges directly engageable with the planar face of the hold-down plate.

Abstract: An apparatus for orienting and conveying small objects has a vessel having a horizontal floor having an upper face and formed with a throughgoing aperture, a conveyor passage extending away from the aperture, and a pair of bodies on the floor flanking the aperture and having confronting and upwardly diverging faces forming a funnel open downward at the aperture. Drives are provided for shifting the bodies toward and away from each other.
