In the operative position, the supporting arms are vertically oriented in parallel and spaced apart from each other and, in the inoperative position, the supporting arms are folded up into a roof slot facing each other in a horizontal plane.

Abstract: A motor vehicle roof configuration which can be put away has at least two shaping sections, which are movable relative to one another and can be put away together, for lateral convertible top cloth strips. The shaping sections lie in a row next to one another in a closed position of the roof configuration and have water channels which run approximately parallel to each convertible top cloth strip and in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle and also adjacent to the convertible top cloth strips. It is provided that, at least in a closed position of the roof configuration, an inner edge of each convertible top cloth strip together with at least one sealing configuration forms a leakproof covering for the adjacent water channel.

This connection element, in one strip, consists of a detent hook and, in the other strip, consists of a detent hook receiving device. In the connected condition, the detent hook of one strip is held hooked into the detent hook receiving device of the other strip such that the exterior strip surfaces can be connected with one another at the same level and the strips can be connected with one another without gaps.

Abstract: A motor vehicle has an opening which can be closed by a swivellable component, particularly a tail gate, the component being mounted by at least one hinge on a vehicle body part and the hinge having a first hinge half fastened to the vehicle body part and a second hinge half fastened to the swivellable component. An adjusting device for aligning the swivellable component with respect to the adjoining vehicle body contour is provided. So that the aligning of the swivellable component can be carried out from the direction of the exterior side of the vehicle when the component is closed, the adjusting device is arranged on the exterior side on the end area of the second hinge half facing the swivellable component.
