    Abstract: A portable blower having a motor unit that includes a drive motor disposed in an engine housing. The blower has a blower unit that is provided with a blower housing that is separate from the engine housing. The blower unit includes an axial fan that is driven by the drive motor via a drive shaft. During operation the axial fan conveys operating air in the direction of the axis of rotation of the axial fan through a blower tube disposed downstream of the axial fan. An ergonomic operation and a good operating result can be achieved if the motor unit includes a guide tube on which is secured at least one handle. The engine housing is disposed at one end of the guide tube and the blower unit is disposed at the other end of the guide tube. The drive shaft extends through the guide tube. The length of the guide tube between the engine housing and the blower unit corresponds to at least half of the length of the blower tube.

In order to make possible a simple adjustment of the actuating device, it is provided that the throttle lever (2) has an operator-controlled lever (6) and an actuating lever (5). The operator-controlled lever (6) can be actuated by the operator. The actuating lever (5) acts on the actuating device. The relative position of the actuating lever (5) relative to the operator-controlled lever (6) is adjustable.

The cylinder has a combustion chamber that is delimited by a reciprocating piston that via a connecting rod drives a crankshaft that is mounted in a crankcase so as to be rotatable about a crankshaft axis. The cylinder has an outlet for conveying exhaust gases out of the combustion chamber, with the outlet having an axis of the channel thereof. The cylinder also has an inlet for supplying a fuel/air mixture to the crankcase. By means of at least two transfer channels, the fuel/air mixture is conveyed out of the crankcase and into the combustion chamber, with the transfer channels being disposed symmetrically relative to the axis of the channel of the outlet.

A radial flange collar (13) is formed on the outer sleeve (6). To ensure an accurate metering at the highest possible volume flow of the discharged liquid at low manufacturing costs, the valve plate (3) is mounted at a free end (9) of the support (1) and the axial connecting elements are configured as tension rods (4, 4?) and are arranged next to an edge of the valve plate (3).

    Abstract: A valve drive having a rocker arm mounted on a cylinder head is provided. One end of the rocker arm is actuated by a push rod to actuate a valve stem of a poppet valve that engages the other end of the rocker arm, which is pivotably held between its ends on a support pin that extends into the cylinder head, with a spherical mounting being provided between the support pin and the rocker arm. Provided on that side of the rocker arm remote from the cylinder head is a bolt head for adjusting the bearing spacing between the rocker arm and the cylinder head for adjusting valve play. To prevent unintended adjustment of the bolt head, the latter cooperates with a rotation preventing element that has an arresting portion that engages the bolt head, and a support portion that conveys the adjustment moment away.

The throttle flap (3) is displaced in a closing direction from an opening position into a closed position and in an opening direction from the closed position into the open position. The same applies to the choke flap (5). The choke flap (5) and the throttle flap (3) are mechanically coupled. The choke shaft (6) is actuable by an operator-controlled element.
