    Abstract: A method for employing a biometric scanning arrangement to manage a set of actions performed on a mobile device is provided. The method includes setting the biometric scanning arrangement to a mode, wherein the mode including at least one of a navigation mode and a matching mode. The method also includes capturing an image of a unique physiological feature, wherein the capturing is performed by a biometric sensor. The method further includes performing the set of actions associated with the image for the mode, wherein the set of actions is other than authentication of a user possessing the unique physiological feature.
