  • Patent number: 5512914
Abstract: An omni-directional, collinear, vertical base station antenna having an adjustable or variable radiation beam tilt capability. Terminations at the drive or feed points are provided by an adjustable, capacitive coupling structure at the feed points between the conductive elements of a feed structure and a radiator assembly for adjusting the physical position of the feed points and thereby the phase of the feed points relative to the upper and lower portions of the antenna to alter the deflection angle of the radiation produced. A signal feed, having first and second conductive feed elements, is connectable to a signal feed line to couple a signal between the feed line and the radiator assembly.

  • Patent number: 4144490
Abstract: Electronic sensing and measuring equipment for accurately measuring the pitch of musical sounds and which includes an audio tuner responsive to the fundamental frequency of a continuing signal while rejecting all other harmonically related components of said signal to produce a digital signal representing the fundamental pitch of said musical sound, and a counter for counting and totalizing said digital signal defining the same in terms of its frequency and for visually displaying said defined signal.

  • Patent number: 4037797
Abstract: A grinding mill arranged in a housing having a stone grinding wheel turned by a power source such that a face thereof moves over a fixed grinding stone. Grain deposited between faces thereof is ground into meal or flour and falls into a receptacle preferably in the housing that can be removed therefrom. The invention provides a feed arrangement for passing whole grain from a trough, through an opening in the fixed grinding stone to a location between the faces.Adjustment of spacing between the faces of the stone grinding wheel and fixed grinding stone is provided by the inclusion of a manually turnable shaft arrangement that attaches to a threaded sleeve fixed to the electric motor. The turning of the shaft draws the electric motor toward or urges it away from a fixed point to shift the electric motor within the housing, so as to vary, as desired, the spacing between the faces.

  • Patent number: 3966178
Abstract: A combination grain mill and dough mixer arranged so as to be operated by a common power source, that power source preferably being an electric motor having an armature shaft that turns simultaneously both the grain mill and a kneader or agitator portion of the mixer. A preferred form of the grain mill being one utilizing a fixed grinding stone and a stone grinding wheel with flat surfaces of each arranged proximate to one another and the stone wheel adapted to be turned by the shaft of the electric motor, with grain deposited between the stones through an appropriate feed opening formed through the fixed grinding stone.Grinding of the grain into flour or meal is accomplished by the action of the face of the stone grinding wheel turned closely proximate to the face of the fixed stone, the ground grain falling as flour or meal from between the stones into a drawer within the housing.
