  • Patent number: 6176113
Abstract: An inflatable device for simply and efficiently repairing a dent, crease, or other surface irregularity in a component of a vehicle, or, alternatively, for simply and efficiently supporting, raising or moving an object to a desired position. The device includes an accordion-like, inflatable air vessel and an air hose assembly that is adapted for attaching to the vessel for introducing air under pressure into the vessel for expanding the vessel. The device can be manufactured in a variety of shapes and sizes for different specific uses. Additionally, a separate top, which can also be manufactured in a variety of shapes and sizes, may be applied over a part of the vessel for different specific uses. The device, in its deflated or flattened position, is placed beneath or beside the vehicular component to be repaired. The device is then inflated to force the dent, crease or other surface irregularity outwardly back toward its original contour.

  • Patent number: 4803817
Abstract: A glazing assembly for the exterior of a building comprises glazing structures each having rigid channel forming members bonded about its perimeter. The channels so formed are oriented open to the periphery of the structure. Pressure plates are inserted in the channels of the glazing structures, and are fastened to structural members of the building by mechanical means such as screws. Each pressure plate coacts with a channel member and preferably with channel members of adjacent glazing structures to mechanically secure the structures in place on the building without the appearance of external frame members. The resulting assembly provides continuous glazing for the exterior walls of the building.

  • Patent number: 4439073
Abstract: A pressurized air jet actuated swing valve for sandblasters is hinged with respect to the underside of the inverted head of the sandblaster to fit squarely against the sand filling opening in the tank head whenever the swing valve is maintained in closed position due to air pressure within the tank. A pivotal shaft secured against the underside of a valve plate is loosely journalled at each end in a pair of opposed, vertical slots in brackets attached to the underside of the tank head for free downward swinging of the valve body with respect to the inside of the tank when the valve in its open position, while at the same time providing for self-adjustment seating against the tank head sand filling opening when closed.
