Abstract: An apparatus for the visual display of greeting cards, photographs, artwork, notes, or other items is provided. Such apparatus comprises a suspension member that is attached in one embodiment to a vertical support alternatively suited for either static display on a horizontal surface or for insertion into a semi-solid material, such as, dirt, potting soil or Styrofoam®. In other embodiments, the suspension member is attached to a base for attachment via magnetic force or adhesive to a vertical surface. Various embodiments of the present invention include alternative hanger means for securing the item to be displayed to the display apparatus, including a clip member or a bent-wire-type frame for simultaneously supporting the display item while being suspended from the suspension member.
