Abstract: There is disclosed a drive apparatus for producing motion of a workpiece such as adjustment of a rear view mirror, comprising two drums arranged with their axis of rotations being relatively offset, the two drums being individually rotatable by means of a single controller in that the controller is attached to each drum such that it is off-center in only one of the vertical and horizontal directions, each drum controlling either vertical or horizontal motion of the workpiece.
