  • Patent number: 8028031
Abstract: Determining email filtering type based on sender classification. Incoming email is accessed and a sender of the incoming email is identified. The reputation of the sender of the incoming email is determined. An email sender classification is made based on the reputation of the sender. A determination of the type of filtering operations to be performed by an email filter on the email is made based on the classification. The parameters of the type of filtering operations to be performed are determined. The parameters of the type of filtering operations to be performed are provided to the email filter.

  • Patent number: 6023879
Abstract: The method for controlling termites includes providing a plurality of bait stations disposed within or adjacent to a region to be controlled and delivering water to zones around the bait stations to provide a greater moisture content within the soil within the zones than in adjacent areas in order to attract termites to said bait stations. The delivery of water to the zones may be effected by an elongated hose having discharge openings adjacent to or within the high moisture zones. Periodically, the moisture content of the soil within the zones may be measured and an adjustment in the water delivery rate made if the moisture content departs from a desired range. The bait station may consist of an apertured container containing termite food and a termiticide. Associated apparatus is provided.

  • Patent number: 4450665
Abstract: Elongated siding panels formed from plastic have integral joint portions along their side edges which are adapted to fit together and interlock when the panels are mounted on a building wall in overlapping relation. A flange adjacent the top edge of the panels extends outwardly and downwardly to define a channel open at its bottom, and an upwardly directed lip on the bottom edge of the panels is adapted to project into and interlock with the channel on a panel mounted therebelow on a building wall. A plurality of inwardly directed protrusions, or dimples, are formed on the upwardly directed lip to provide an interference fit with entrance to the channel.

  • Patent number: 4118795
Abstract: Insulated gate field effect transistor charge regenerator amplifiers respectively cross-couple the output regions of a pair of two-phase CCD structures with the input regions of those structures. Each amplifier senses the level of binary data charge packets from the output region of one of the shift register structures and in response thereto applies a regenerated and inverted binary data charge packet to the input region of the other shift register structure. One of the amplifiers includes logic gating for inputting and outputting data into and from the shift register structure.A charge regenerator for a two-phase CCD structure comprising first and second shift registers. The charge regenerator comprises a source follower amplifier including a driver transistor, a load transistor and a positive feedback transistor connected between the gate and source of the driver transistor.
