  • Patent number: 11754070
Abstract: A pump apparatus (1) for use in mobile means of transport (100) such as semitrailers, tank trailers, tank semitrailers (101), tank trucks and trucks (102), has a drive motor (40) and a rotary piston pump (2) having two rotor units (10, 20) on rotatably mounted rotor shafts (11, 21), connected to rotor gear wheels (12, 22). A drive pinion (32) of a drive shaft (31) coupled to one of the rotor gear wheels (12) and is received in a recess (81) of the motor shaft (41).

Abstract: Mobile means of transport (100) with a pump apparatus (1) and mobile pump apparatus (1) for use in mobile means of transport (100) such as semitrailers, tank trailers, tank semitrailers (101), tank trucks and trucks (102), comprising a drive motor (40) and a rotary piston pump (2). The drive motor (40) comprises a motor shaft (41) for driving the rotary piston pump (2). The rotary piston pump (2) comprises a housing (3) and two pump openings (4, 5) configured thereon, one of which serves as a pump inlet (4) and the other, as a pump outlet (5). The rotary piston pump (2) comprises at least two rotor units (10, 20) rotatably accommodated in the housing (3) in a pump chamber (6) for conveying a fluid from the pump inlet (4) to the pump outlet (5). The two rotor units (10, 20) are accommodated on rotatably mounted rotor shafts (11, 21), each rotor shaft (11, 21) being equipped with a rotor gear wheel (12, 22) arranged outside the pump chamber (6).

  • Patent number: 9377021
Abstract: An improved positive displacement pump provides improved wear characteristics. Specifically, rotor pads are provided on faces relative to an internal portion of the rotor housing as it relates to an end wall and a rear side of a cover plate. The rotor pads preferably have at least one of anti-galling and/or anti-friction or anti-wear characteristics thereby providing improvements over the prior art. A central member is preferably provided so that pad replacement may be relatively easily performed in the field in clean in place operations.

  • Patent number: 8162625
Abstract: A pump, reduction gear, motor combination wherein the reduction gear and pump have nesting shafts internal to at least one of the housings of the pump and reduction gears. The housings meet at cooperating front and rear flanges having a plurality of bores therethrough, and selection from a number of orientations is possible whereby a pump outlet can be selectively oriented at a number of predetermined orientations relative to the reduction gears. The reduction gears also preferably provide a base spaced from the front flange which provides for mounting to a support to thereby suspend the motor cantileveredly from the reduction gears.
