  • Publication number: 20240048938
Abstract: This specification generally relates to a method and system for providing curbside pickup. In one example method, an order to be fulfilled via curbside delivery is received at a merchant, where the order is associated with a first entity. The merchant receives a notification of arrival of the first entity to or within a pre-determined area associated with the merchant, where the notification includes location information associated with the first entity. The merchant can then generate a set of directions for a second entity to travel to reach the first entity based on the location information associated with the first entity, and can present the generated set of directions to the second entity for completing the curbside delivery. The merchant can then receive a confirmation of the delivery after interactions between the second entity and the first entity at the first entity's location.

  • Patent number: 11715091
Abstract: The present disclosure involves solutions for dynamically connecting a customer-owned mobile device, a cloud-based service, and one or more particular physical payment devices located at an entity. In one example, as executed at a cloud-based payment service, a unique identifier associated with a location of a mobile device of a customer is received. An entity and a first location within the entity is determined based on the unique identifier, and a particular payment device at the entity is determined. The cloud service transmits, to the particular payment device, information to be used by the particular payment device to perform the payment transaction. A second signal is transmitted to the mobile device of the customer, and includes an indication of the particular payment device at which the payment transaction is to be completed. The payment transaction can then be completed at the particular payment device.

  • Patent number: 11599874
Abstract: The present disclosure involves systems, software, and computer implemented methods for providing rapid approval of blockchain-based transactions. This includes approval of transactions prior to the transaction being written to the blockchain. A transaction system can register with a transaction manager, such as a cloud-based or cloud transaction manager, which can maintain a queue of pending transactions and provide approval for transactions in real-time or near real-time, while later verifying the pending transactions are written into the blockchain as expected. This allows the transaction system to securely confirm the transaction is approved prior to the transaction being written in the blockchain, based on a real-time or near real-time analysis of each customer's corresponding account and transactions.

  • Publication number: 20220383317
Abstract: The present disclosure involves systems, software, and computer implemented methods for an improved method and system for providing payment card management and secured remote redemption without disclosure of a full card number. In one example method, a cloud service receives a notification from a merchant associated with a new payment card activation, the notification including a messaging identifier corresponding to an account associated with the payment card and its value. The cloud service can then associate, in an account associated with the messaging identifier, the new payment card and the messaging identifier. The new payment card is then assigned the value of the new payment card, and the cloud service can generate a notification message specific to the account associated with the messaging identifier, and can transmit the notification to a device associated with the messaging identifier of the account.

  • Publication number: 20190066195
Abstract: Systems and methods for efficient navigation of an order entry system user interface are disclosed. A particular embodiment includes: presenting a user interface on a display screen of a point-of-sale (POS) device to a user; rendering an on-screen interactive order display region in a first display area of the display screen; rendering an order entry region in a second display area of the display screen; receiving a first single user input from the user to cause the on-screen interactive order display region to expand to an expanded view so a larger portion of the content of the on-screen interactive order display region is visible to the user; and receiving a second single user input from the user to cause the user interface to restore the on-screen interactive order display region to the normally collapsed view not obscuring the order entry region.
