  • Publication number: 20130056058
Abstract: The present invention relates to a contacted solar cell which has contact places on the front- and rear-side for electrical contacting of the solar cell. The current produced by the solar cells is tapped across the solar cells by means of a conductor fitted on the front- or rear-side, the contact places of the solar cell being arranged, according to the invention, on the front- or rear-side such that, in projection on the front-face of the solar cell, they do not come to coincide.

  • Publication number: 20120167959
Abstract: The invention relates to a photovoltaic module made of at least two solar cells, wherein said cells are connected at least in regions by a planar cell connector. The cell connector is made of at least one porous carrier layer and at least one conductor structure disposed on the side of the carrier layer facing away from the solar cells. The system of planar cell connectors are used in producing wafer-based photovoltaic modules, primarily of return contact cells having an arbitrary contact arrangement in the plane.

  • Publication number: 20120037212
Abstract: The invention relates to a photovoltaic module comprising a first and a second cover layer, an arrangement situated between these of photovoltaic cells which are connected via cell connectors and also an edge seal of the cover layers which extends around the photovoltaic module. The module according to the invention thereby makes possible minimization of the mechanical stresses, e.g. due to different coefficients of thermal expansion, of the photovoltaic cells. Likewise, a method for production of the photovoltaic modules according to the invention is provided.

  • Publication number: 20100037950
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for the production of a solar cell composite which has a solar cell which is applied on a substrate and/or is covered by a superstrate, the substrate and/or the superstrate being connected to the solar cell via a fixing. The substrate and/or superstrate thereby has a higher thermal coefficient of expansion than the solar cell, higher process temperatures being applied during the production method before the fixing of the solar cell on the substrate and/or the superstrate. After curing of the fixing and cooling to room temperature, the solar cell is under tangential pressure which emanates from the substrate and/or superstrate and is transmitted to the solar cell by the fixing, which pressure endows the entire solar cell composite with significantly increased stability.

  • Patent number: 6227280
Abstract: A Venetian type sunshade comprising a plurality of parallel lamellae with horizontally extending respective longitudinal axes, which are adapted to be rotated about their respective longitudinal axes using an adjusting mechanism. The lamellae, or a layer applied on the upper side of the lamellae, consists of a material transparent to sunlight. Each lamella has an upper side, a plurality of ribs, and a third face. Each rib has a first face arranged obliquely relative to the upper side of the lamella and adapted to be irradiated by the sun in an approximately vertical direction, and a second face which is arranged flush and at an acute angle of roughly 45° relative to the first flat element. The third face is approximately orthogonal to the second faces.
