  • Patent number: 5923721
Abstract: A bi-plane x-ray diagnostic apparatus has two x-ray tubes and two radiation receivers for respectively obtaining images from an examination subject in two different planes. Both x-ray tubes are fed by a single high-frequency generator, having a common chain therein including an intermediate DC voltage circuit, an inverse rectifier and a high-voltage transformer. Emission of x-rays from each of the x-ray tubes ensues via pulses supplied to control grids in the respective x-ray tubes. The operating parameters and the dose can be independently set for the respective images in the two planes.

  • Patent number: 4609940
Abstract: The invention relates to a radiodiagnostic installation with a motor-adjustable patient table, a motor-adjustable radiation diaphragm, and an image intensifier television system for image reproduction. With the monitor of the image intensifier television system a light pen is associated for the entry of certain sites on the monitor into a memory. Connected to the memory are control circuits for the motors of the patient table and of the primary radiation diaphragm, which are designed so that the patient table and the primary radiation diaphragm are adjusted in accordance with the respective image field on the monitor to which the light pen points.

  • Patent number: 4432095
Abstract: In an exemplary embodiment displaceable clamping jaws mount x-ray film cassettes of varying format for movement into the exposure position. In the case of such x-ray cassette changers it is necessary that the width-definition of the cone of rays corresponds to the dimensions of the inserted x-ray film cassette. The film support, in the case of fluoroscopy, should be capable of being removed from the examination apparatus without difficulties. For this purpose, the disclosure provides that the film support and the clamping jaws are coupled with transmitters which assume positions with respect to a displacement direction of the film support in dependence on the clamping positions of the respective pairs of clamping jaws. Associated with the transmitters are receivers which, together with an actual value transmitter responsive to movement of the film support, are connected to a measured value processing arrangement.
