Abstract: A self service bank terminal is constructed so as to be usable by sitting and standing customers, so as to take up little floor surface, and so that several terminals can be placed side-by-side with the display screen of one terminal being not viewable by customers at other of the terminals. The terminal has a housing 10 with two rectangular side walls 23, 123 connected by an upper cover plate 24, a rear wall 25, a front plate 27 and a bottom plate 26, which includes the bottom plate having a supporting surface for engaging a supporting floor, or the bottom plate 22 having a supporting column 21, with the cover plate being horizontal or slightly sloped. The display screen is located on a pulpit shaped portion 124 of the cover plate, has associated with it blinder shields 41 on three of its sides, and is slightly inclined. Also included in the terminal are a keyboard 52, a check examining device 53, and a printer drawer 30.

Abstract: The invention relates to a device for treating forms, especially betting slips or the like, comprising a reader with a transport device that forms a gap-type transport path for a betting slip. In the path of said transport path a reading head is disposed and is linked with a control and evaluation unit. In the projection of the at least one vertically aligned transport path a printer is disposed below the reading heat that is linked with the control and evaluation unit. Said printer comprises an abutment and a print head that can be adjusted between an abutment remote rest position and an abutment proximal operative position. Downstream of the abutment and below said abutment a sheet tray is provided.

Abstract: Cashbox arrangement, having a transportable cashbox (10) and a fixed base plate (20), to which the cashbox (10) can be locked, and having a bolt (30) in the interior of the cashbox (10) which can be unlocked only when the cashbox lid (18) is open. Abstract: For purposes of the smooth and rapid checking out especially even of damaged goods labels, a process for the checking out of goods is proposed in which the data concerning them are automatically, and preferably also manually in the event of faulty checking, entered in the check-out device. In addition, at least two devices for implementing the process are described which have a goods check-out device with both an automatic scanning device and a manually operable input console. One of these devices also makes it possible to relieve and reduce the number of the service staff.
