  • Patent number: 5322536
Abstract: Filter apparatus with a filter cartridge disposed in a compression-proof and pressure-sealed housing. The housing for the filter cartridge comprises two tubular cylinders, each of which having at least one opening of the same size, where both cylinders touch in such a manner that the inner surface of the outer of the two cylinders rests against the outer surface of the inner cylinder, and the inner cylinder envelops the filter cartridge, and that the outer of the two cylinders can be rotated in such a manner around the inner cylinder around a common axis of rotation that the opening of the inner cylinder can be brought coincidence with the opening of the outer cylinder.

  • Patent number: 5169417
Abstract: A device for removing the excess sprayed material in a spraying operation (e.g., the spraying of wet lacquer or the like) includes a spraying booth, a suction booth and an aspirator. A partition provided with openings separates the spraying booth and the suction booth. The openings are defined as tapering nozzles so that the air and sprayed particles are passed through the nozzles at a high rate of speed. This construction minimizes the deposition of particles on the partition. Once in the suction chamber, the air flow is slowed so that the particles will dry. The aspirator is located in an upper region of the suction booth so that the particles are drawn upward. A filter is positioned in front of the aspirator to collect the dried particles. The particles thereby form filter cakes which are easily removed from the filter.

  • Patent number: 5108067
Abstract: Diaphragm valve with an elastic diaphragm, which is penetrated by at least one balance hole, braced sealingly on the side of the rim by a valve cover, and which closes a pressure vessel and can be moved by setting the pressure on both sides between the valve cover and the mouthpiece of an exhaust pipe; in the closed state said diaphragm valves abuts the mouthpiece sealingly and in the opened state is bent due to the excess pressure on its side toward the valve cover facing away from the valve cover, wherein in the opened state a hole, opposite the diaphragm, in the valve cover is opened by a control valve and is closed in the closed state so that the pressure in the pressure vessel acts on one side of the diaphragm only when the control valve is open and lifts said diaphragm from the moutpiece.
