  • Patent number: 5917541
Abstract: An input section of a color sense measuring device includes a solid-state camera image-sensing an object to be measured and a frame memory storing output information from the solid-state camera. The output information of the solid-state camera read out of the frame memory is fed to a hue/saturation/lightness transform part in a color sense measuring section for transformation into hue image information, saturation image information and lightness image information for use in measuring the color sense of the object to be measured. Based on the image information output from the color sense measuring section, a feature extract/quantification section extracts a feature value for measuring the color sense of the object and a color sense analysis section judges the color sense of the material of the object on the basis of the feature information output from the feature extract/quantification section, while at the same time the feature information is supplied to an image processing/display part for display.

  • Patent number: 5556664
Abstract: There is provided a phosphor screen forming method in which a metal-backing layer formed after baking can be prevented from becoming nonuniform. A phosphor layer (1), an intermediate solution film layer (2), and a lacquer film layer (3) are formed on an inner surface of a panel (P). The intermediate film layer solution contains 1 weight % of oxalic acid. The oxalic acid in the intermediate film layer solution is crystallized by evaporating and drying the intermediate film layer solution and the lacquer, and a crystallized material (4) is grown (FIG. 5A). Thereafter, an aluminum layer (5) is formed on the lacquer film layer (3) (FIG. 5B), and the intermediate solution film layer (2) and the lacquer film layer (3) are removed by baking (FIG. 5C).

  • Patent number: 5508080
Abstract: A flexible laminated surface material has an outer material and a laminate wadding composed of a fibrous web and a nonwoven fabric sheet that are together needle punched. Parts of filaments of the web penetrate through the nonwoven fabric sheet, thus forming many small protrusions on the nonwoven fabric sheet. The outer material is adhered, using entire area or spot adhesion techniques, to the nonwoven fabric sheet side of the wadding with a substantial adhesion strength. By varying the amount of the adhesion applied, different types of adhesion can be achieved.

  • Patent number: 5204948
Abstract: In the present invention saturation is averaged for each pixel block of a predetermined size and a maximum saturation value is obtained for each of a predetermined number of block sizes. A sum total of maximum mean saturation values is obtained, basic chromaticity corresponding to the sum total is determined, and saturation values are each corrected by a hue of the corresponding pixel. X and Y correlation coefficient coordinates of the pixel positions having greater saturation values than a reference saturation value are obtained for each color, and a slanted striped pattern factor is determined corresponding to the correlation coefficient. The width of a striped pattern is detected for each color, the sum of the saturation values within the pattern width, a standard deviation of the pixel positions weighted by the saturation values and the number of pixels within the pattern width are multiplied, and a border striped pattern is determined corresponding to the multiplied value.

  • Patent number: 4905229
Abstract: A local area network system including a data transfer communication network for transferring data between plural sending and receiving nodes, and a control information communication network separate and independent of the data transfer communication network for exchanging control information between the sending and receiving nodes, whereby the overhead associated with a packet switching communication mechanism in order to distinguish between addresses or commands for each packet is remarkably decreased. According to the invention, once the connection link is established between the sending and receiving nodes, the transmission of data is completely independent of exchanging control information so that the time required to transfer data is independent of the load on the communication bus and the number of packets to be sent.
