  • Patent number: 7397414
Abstract: An electromagnetic wave absorber is formed by injection-molding a thermoplastic resin blended with approximately 20-60% by volume of soft magnetic material powder, and blended with a molding assistant and a kneading assistant. The electromagnetic wave absorber includes a unit cell having a bore extending from a top face to a bottom face. A portion of the bore located more adjacently to the bottom face than to the top face has a smaller cross-sectional area than the bore at the top face, and a height of the unit cell from the bottom face to the top face is approximately at least 1.2 times and approximately at most 10 times as large as the maximum width of the bore at the top face of the unit cell.

  • Patent number: 5128931
Abstract: A data exchange apparatus having common buffer memories for temporarily storing input data, a vacant buffer selector for selecting a vacant buffer to which the input data is stored and storage memories for storing buffer memory identification information on the bases of the destination of information of data in a predetermined order. The buffer memories are capable of reading and writing data in the order of arrival and are accessible independently of each other, i.e., without affecting each other.

  • Patent number: 5020250
Abstract: A powered snowplow includes a snowplow body housing which houses at least a power source, a self-propelling mechanism supporting the snowplow body and drivable by the power source for propelling the snowplow, an auger mechanism mounted on a front portion of the snowplow body, the auger mechanism having a snow collecting auger, and a control mechanism mounted on a rear portion of the snowplow body. The control mechanism includes a first control lever operable for transmitting power from the power source to the self-propelling mechanism, a second control lever operable for transmitting power from the power source to the auger mechanism, an auger height adjusting handle disposed near the second control lever, for adjusting a height of the auger, and an interlink plate for keeping the second control lever operated in coaction with the first control lever when the first control lever is operated.

  • Patent number: 4867226
Abstract: A method of oscillating a continuous caster mold at high frequencies comprises disposing a plurality of oscillators having substantially the same oscillating characteristic at appropriate intervals along or in the vicinity of a line where liquid metal contacts an inner lining of a mold, connecting the tip of each oscillator to the inner lining so that the axis of the oscillator extends at right angles to the surface of the inner lining, and supplying power from an oscillation generator to each oscillator so that the oscillation frequencies of any two adjoining oscillators are differentiated within the limit of 2 KHz. Thus, any two adjoining oscillators oscillate the inner lining at right angles to the surface thereof at mutually differentiated frequencies.
