    Abstract: Apparatus for cutting a continuous narrow strip into short sections. The apparatus comprises a rotatable yoke which has attached thereto a plurality of blades, each of which has an edge provided with a row of teeth. The yoke is adjacent a stationary blade which has an edge provided with a row of teeth. The teeth of the blades which are attached to the yoke and the teeth of the stationary blade mesh as the yoke rotates.A guide member directs a continuous strip generally vertically downwardly to a position between the yoke and the stationary blade. Thus, as the yoke rotates, the strip is cut into short sections which fall downwardly from the yoke and from the stationary blade.
