  • Publication number: 20060207193
Abstract: A building is formed from two halves each cut from one or more rectangular metal containers, with the two halves being arranged with an open face thereof facing inwardly toward one another with a space therebetween. A roof is formed over the two halves and spans the space and to an outer face of the halves. A front vertical panel fills the space at the front between the two halves and includes a door and a rear vertical panel fills the space at the rear. Gable panels extend up to the roof. The roof is arched and formed of a flexible fabric or panel material. The roof and end walls can be collapsed and stored into the container halves for transportation. A more permanent construction is formed by inclined roof panels supported by rafters connected by three or four-way connector members at the ridge rail.

  • Publication number: 20050132718
Abstract: A wine storage system is formed by a modular frame defined by upright members and cross members arranged to form a three dimensional array of compartments in rows and columns where the upright members and cross members have interconnections therebetween allowing addition of further members to form frames of different sizes in a modular construction. Each compartment is arranged to receive an independent wine cell having an insulated rectangular housing with a door and a semi-conductor or other based cooling element inside the housing for cooling the wine bottles. A modular electrical supply arrangement provides a single connection for the modular frame and a connector on each compartment for the housing as it slides into the compartment. Some of the housings can be replaced by less expensive knock down or collapsible non-cooling racks for temporary storage.

  • Patent number: 6119681
Abstract: A cordless tool which includes a glue gun function and may include other functions includes a sleeve for receiving a stick of hot melt glue for sliding through the sleeve and a tip at the forward end of the sleeve for discharging the glue when melted. A butane heated gas burner heats the sleeve using gas permeable catalytic heater which surrounds or lies in intimate contact with the sleeve to communicate heat to the sleeve. The arrangement can be modified by closing off the catalytic heater for use to provide multi function.
