  • Publication number: 20230405823
Abstract: For a simple monitoring of a robotic system that is configured for robot-assisted actuation of a movement of a medical object in a hollow organ of a patient, the robotic system includes at least one drive system, a robot control unit, and an acoustic sensor. A method is provided and includes receiving, by the acoustic sensor, acoustic signals of the robotic system during the operation of the robotic system for moving the medical object. At least one signal pattern is recognized in the received acoustic signals. The at least one recognized signal pattern is evaluated with respect to an associated action flow of at least one component of the robotic system. The method includes checking whether the action flow is an intended action flow, and actuating an action if the action flow is unintended.

  • Publication number: 20230186471
Abstract: A method for providing a specification include receiving a planning dataset, wherein the planning dataset has a pre-ascertained mapping and/or a model of an examination object. The method further includes capturing selection information relating to one or more available medical object(s) and determining the specification by applying a specification function to input data, wherein the input data is based on the planning dataset and the selection information, wherein the specification has suitability information and a desired path, wherein the desired path has a plurality of spatial and/or temporal control points, which control points specify desired positionings for the one available medical object or one of the plurality of available medical objects respectively, and wherein the suitability information assesses suitability of the at least one available medical object for the desired path. The method further includes providing the specification as output data of the specification function.

  • Patent number: 9872655
Abstract: A method of guiding a catheter during an embolization operation includes receiving volume data of a patient volume, the patient volume including a lesion and a feeding vessel for the lesion, detecting the feeding vessel in the volume data, define a vessel connection path for the feeding vessel, the vessel connection path connecting first and second points in the volume data, the second point being disposed along the feeding vessel, receiving fluoroscopic projection data of the patient volume, and rendering the fluoroscopic projection data with an overlay during the embolization operation, the overlay including the vessel connection path for the feeding vessel.

  • Patent number: 9375190
Abstract: A radiography device and a radiography method are specifically adapted for examinations in the field of pediatric radiology. The radiography device examines a diagnosis-relevant region of a patient. The device has a radiation source, which emits radiological rays in an irradiation direction. An irradiation surface is selectable in dependence of a specified examination region of the patient. The radiography device also has a measurement field. The size of the measurement field is changeable such that the size of the measurement field and the size of the irradiation surface correlate.

  • Patent number: 9248571
Abstract: A method for operating a multi-axis, preferably six-axis, robot with axes that can be driven by drive means is proposed. The axes are possible to be moved separately and their movement is controlled by a control facility. Before the movement of the robot is executed, a control data record is created for controlling the movement of the robot as a function of initial and target information for the robot input by a user. The control facility performs a verification of the control data record in respect of at least one predefined basic condition relating to the operation of the robot stored in a memory. The control data record is adjusted based on the at least one basic condition while retaining the target information as a function of the result of the check.
