  • Patent number: 11987094
Abstract: A method for servicing a heater core installed in a heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning (HVAC) assembly for a motor vehicle includes removing a sealing attachment from an interfacing connection interfacing with the heater core. The method includes sliding the heater core in a direction of insertion. The method includes disconnecting, from the heater core, the interfacing connection. The method includes removing the heater core in a direction of extraction, the direction of extraction being orthogonal to the direction of insertion.

  • Publication number: 20230408138
Abstract: A HVAC unit includes a housing, at least one flap and an actuator corresponding to the flap. The housing includes a first and a second portion and defining an enclosure “E”. The flap is received inside the housing with a first extreme end thereof engaging with the first portion and a second extreme end thereof engaging with the second portion of the housing via an intermediate lever. The actuator disposed outside the enclosure “E” is connected to and drives the flap via the intermediate lever. The intermediate lever includes a stopper radially extending from at least a portion of a periphery thereof. The stopper is disposed between the second portion of the housing and the flap to limit axial movement of the intermediate lever.

  • Publication number: 20050165832
Abstract: A rating program on a mobile computing device communicates with other mobile devices regarding collected ratings. A user enters ratings and requests for information; the mobile computing device will then operate in the background, actively scanning for other users with the same type of short-range communications and a ratings program. The devices are able to exchange and save ratings, providing a mobile, socially-relevant means of collecting information.

  • Publication number: 20050160261
Abstract: The present invention provides a method, apparatus and computer instructions for scaling a user interface adaptively to an object discovery or display system with policy driven filtering. A number of filters are defined by the user in an initial setup. The filter includes a target number of discovered objects and a metric for filtering discovered objects. Once the initial setup is complete, the present invention automatically triggers or deactivates the filters and dynamically applies one or more filters based on the number of discovered objects and rules defined by the user. Resulting discovered objects are displayed in the user interface to the user.
