  • Publication number: 20130237973
Abstract: The present invention discloses a laser emission system comprising a laser emission device for irradiation a laser to an area of a targeted object; a monitoring device; a display unit for displaying an image captured by the monitoring device; and a control unit connected to the monitoring device and the display unit. Here, the control unit receives the information on a movement direction and a moving distance of the laser emission device and distinguishes between an area emitted with a laser by the laser emission device and an area which is not emitted with a laser, and then displays them on the display unit. Regardless of the perceived skill of the operator, the present invention prevents the irradiation of the area from being omitted and prevents the area from being excessively or insufficiently emitted in the laser treatment.

  • Publication number: 20130158415
Abstract: A ballistocardiogram (BCG) analysis apparatus, method, and system is provided for utilizing the BCG for a vehicle. A basic pattern is selected when measurement of a BCG is initiated. Data about BCG is measured for a predetermined period of time. Whether the basic pattern is suitable for the measured data is determined by comparing the measured data with the basic pattern. If the basic pattern is suitable for the measured BCG data, continuous data about the BCG is collected. Signal processing is performed based on pattern matching using the continuous data. A biological condition of the examinee is recognized using results of the signal processing. A posture of the examinee is measured, and if the posture of the examinee has changed, a pattern DB is searched, the basic pattern is changed to a suitable pattern, and then signal processing is performed.

  • Patent number: 8343690
Abstract: A method for the fabrication of a mesoporous metal electrode in a non-liquid crystalline phase was tested. Specifically, there was tested the efficacy of the method for the fabrication of a mesoporous metal electrode which comprises forming the mesoporous metal electrode on a substrate by chemical or electrochemical reduction of a mixture comprising a solvent, a structure-directing agent, and a source of a metal, characterized in that the mixture is maintained in a non-liquid crystal phase. Furthermore, the usefulness of the mesoporous metal electrode thus prepared from the non-liquid crystalline phase was also tested. The mesoporous metal electrode prepared from the non-liquid crystalline phase had a large surface area, and a roughness factor thereof was controlled by charges passed during electroplating. The method made it possible to fabricate the mesoporous metal electrode in the non-liquid crystalline phase, even more flexible than a liquid crystalline phase.

  • Publication number: 20090104689
Abstract: The present invention relates to a microchip using polyelectrolyte salt bridge for cytometry, velocimetry, and cell sorting. The microchip comprises; a) an inlet for solution to be analyzed, b) a microchannel which provides a moving passage for solution to be analyzed, c) at least one outlet for solution to be analyzed which has passed through the moving passage, d) at least one electrode system comprising a first and a second salt bridges connected to the microchannel (the two salt bridges face each other), and a first and a second reservoirs connected to said each salt bridge (the reservoir comprises electrode and standard electrolyte solution). The microchip detects analytes in the solution to be analyzed (for example, a cell) by detecting change of impedance. In detail, anion in the standard electrolyte solution, which is comprised in the first reservoir, moves from the first salt bridge to the second salt bridge across the microchannel.
