Abstract: A method of certifying a user is provided. The method includes: generating a learning system; if a reference image is registered, analyzing the reference image by using the learning system to detect characteristic information; storing the detected characteristic information; photographing a user to acquire a user image; analyzing the user image by using the learning system to detect face characteristic information and additional information of the user; and comparing the face characteristic information and the additional information with stored characteristic information to certify the user. Therefore, a user certification is accurately performed.

Abstract: A pose classification apparatus is provided. The apparatus includes a first image analyzer and a second image analyzer configured to estimate a body part for each pixel of an input image including a human body, a body part decider configured to calculate reliabilities of analysis results of the first image analyzer and the second image analyzer, and configured to decide the body part for each pixel of the input image based on the calculated reliabilities, and a pose estimator configured to estimate a pose of the human body included in the input image, based on the decided body part for each pixel.

Abstract: A display apparatus and a method for video calling thereof are provided. The method includes: capturing an image; detecting a face of at least one user from the captured image; setting an interest area to include a preset body part of the at least one user whose face has been detected; editing the interest area set in the captured image to generate a video calling image; and transmitting the video calling image to an external apparatus.

The digital content transmission apparatus includes an input module to receive an alphanumeric message, a state searching module to search for time information and location information of the message, a control module to extract a serial number of a first multimedia content corresponding to the time information and the location information, and a communication module to transmit data into which the message and the extracted serial number are combined.
