Publication number: 20130126624Abstract: Disclosed is a thermostat device which can both stabilise operation during the initial stages of valve opening, and can stabilise the temperature of a liquid coolant which is circulated in a cooling system circuit. A circular sealing lip (29) is provided on the outer periphery of an approach section (24) of a main valve (21), said approach section being to a cylindrical valve seat (11), and the circular sealing lip is elastically pressure welded to the inner peripheral surface of the cylindrical valve seat (11) when the valve is closed. The circular sealing lip (29) is provided so as to form a waveform having concavity and convexity curving in the drive direction of the main valve (21), due to a thermo-sensitive movable body (31).Type: ApplicationFiled: July 27, 2010Publication date: May 23, 2013Inventor: Hee Wan Park
