  • Publication number: 20240171072
Abstract: A DC/DC converter device is for operating a wind turbine, electric drive system or industrial DC network with electrical energy, in particular by means of an intermediate circuit—couplable to the DC/DC converter device—of an AC/DC converter of a DC energy source or of a DC energy store. An input intermediate circuit has a number of intermediate circuit capacitors connected between a positive input conductor and a negative input conductor. A DC/DC converter, connected downstream of the input intermediate circuit, has a first half bridge connected to the positive input conductor and a second half bridge connected to the negative input conductor. A center tap of the first half bridge and a center tap of the second half bridge are connected via a choke. A method is also provided.

  • Patent number: 11537110
Abstract: A programmable electronic power regulator includes a power module for controlling an actuator, a control module for actuating the power module, and an internal monitoring module for transferring the control module to an emergency operation. The internal monitoring module is configured to monitor a system state, detect a critical operating state, and output an error signal. The control module comprises: a basic controller, which is configured to output a power module control signal, and in which functions for open- and closed-loop control of the actuator are implemented, which are required for an emergency operation in a critical operating state; an additional controller, in which functions that are not needed for emergency operation are implemented; and a controller disconnection point, which connects the basic controller with the additional controller via a control connection, and which is configured to at least partially disconnect the control connection upon receipt of the error signal.

  • Publication number: 20220341392
Abstract: A pitch drive controller for a wind turbine having a plurality of rotor blades fixed on a rotor hub for rotational adjustment of the rotor blades on the rotor hub by an electric motor includes a pitch drive control device for each of the rotor blades. The pitch drive control device is in each case configured to actuate a pitch drive motor. The pitch drive control device has in each case an electronic actuation unit for the respective pitch drive motor, a control output to the respective pitch drive motor and a computing unit with a processor configured to operate the respective pitch drive control device. The drive control device has in each case a local communication connection and is connected or connectable to the other pitch drive control devices of the wind turbine in a cross-communication via the local communication connection.
