  • Publication number: 20230363606
Abstract: A suction foot assembly having a suction foot with a suction foot holder, a coupling portion, and a suction foot interface. One of the coupling portion and a coupling end of the suction foot interface has a pin portion. The other of the coupling portion and the coupling end has first and second clamping elements that are mutually opposite, have free ends, and run concavely in such a manner that a receptacle portion in which the pin portion is received is formed between the clamping elements. The mutual spacing of the free ends of the clamping elements is less than the spacing of the clamping elements in the receptacle portion. One or both clamping elements is/are elastically deformable to permit the pin portion to be moved by way of the free ends out of the receptacle portion and into the latter.

  • Patent number: 9370291
Abstract: A suction foot for a floor cleaning machine having an outer body, which has side pieces having an L-shaped longitudinal cross-section comprising a first horizontal side piece and a second vertical side piece, which extends perpendicular to the first side piece, having an inner body, which is releasably attached to the outer body. The inner body is coupled to the outer body with a sliding movement that is perpendicular to the first horizontal side piece and parallel to the second vertical side piece. A tension band is provided to press a sealing strip against the inner body. The ends of the tension band engage with the ends of the inner body.

  • Patent number: 8079107
Abstract: In an overhead throwing sweeping machine, the cylindrical sweeping roller (4) which is rotatable about its longitudinal axis is retained on jointly adjustable pivoted arms, and the dirt container (6) arranged behind the sweeping roller (4) has a receiving opening, the bottom edge (15) of which lies adjacent to the sweeping roller (4). In order to reset the sweeping area of the sweeping roller (4) after wear of the bristles, a cable control (20) is provided which runs over a bearing surface (11) which, at a pivoted arm designed as a double-armed lever and intended for the sweeping roller (4), is formed on that arm (7) of said double-armed lever which is remote from the longitudinal axis (4?) of the sweeping roller (4).

  • Patent number: 8038030
Abstract: A floor-cleaning machine which can be driven over the floor, includes a driven brush for sweeping the floor to be cleaned. The brush picks up dirt and debris from the floor and carries it, assisted by forced air flow, in an overhead motion and through a transfer duct to a pair of dirt containers in the form of buckets located side-by-side at the rear of the machine. A manual linkage at the rear of the machine moves a pivoted carrier frame which holds the dirt containers, between a raised use position in which the upper rims of the dirt containers are sealed to the machine for collection of debris, and a lowered access position for removal of the containers. Each container is independently accessible for emptying, and includes a bail-type handle pivotally attached such that a bucket, the opening of which faces forwardly and upwardly in the use position, extends generally horizontal when removed, to avoid spillage.
