Abstract: The mobile drilling machine includes a full track or wheeled undercarriage, a drilling mast provided with first guiding tracks extending in the longitudinal direction of the mast for guiding a rotary turntable for drilling pipes and with second guiding tracks, a slider movable on the second guiding tracks, a short supporting arm hinged between the undercarriage and a lower part of the mast, a longer supporting arm hinged at a different point on the undercarriage and connected by a universal joint to the slider and a self-locking driving mechanism provided on the slider to engage a tooth rack or chain mounted on the slider to adjust the inclination of the mast when actuated.

Abstract: A drill cradle comprises a carriage, an elongated slide track carried by said carriage substantially parallel to the sole of the mine gallery in which the drill cradle may be used, and at least one slide supported on said slide track movable in longitudinal direction of the latter. An elongated rail is mounted movably in longitudinal direction and tiltable about an axis on the slide. A boring bar and a drive are mounted on the rail, and at least one side member is hingedly connected to one end of the slide track, movable between a first position in which the side member forms a longitudinal extension of the slide track so that the slide may also move along the extension and a second position upwardly or downwardly extending from the slide track so as to facilitate moving of the drill cradle through a narrow underground mining gallery.

Abstract: The drilling apparatus includes a mount in the form of a cylindrical member defining an elongated passageway and being provided with two opposite guiding rails each being formed with an elongated recessed channel communicating with the passageway; a rotary drive for holding a drill rod has a non-rotating casing provided with guiding elements movable in the recesses of the guiding rails; a feeding mechanism for advancing the rotary drive includes either tooth racks arranged in the recesses of the guiding rails and driving pinions mounted on the casing of the rotary drive or cylinder and piston units located in the recesses of the guide rails and cooperating with feed cables or chains. The mount is supported on a mobile undercarriage which is provided with two pairs of vertically adjustable supporting legs.
