  • Patent number: 5433524
Abstract: A compost container (1) comprises a stirring mechanism (7), which is adapted to be driven from the outside by means of an external shaft (6) and comprises at least one stirring element, which is disposed in the container (1) and rotatable about its own axis. It is proposed that the container (1) comprises a chamber (5), which serves to receive the material to be composted and contains at least one stirring element (8), which is movable inside the container (1) along a closed path and is rotatable about its own axis and is connected to a driving mechanism (9), which controls the movements of the stirring element and is adapted to be driven by means of the external shaft (6). • Patent number: 4732285
Abstract: A collapsible structure consisting of an umbrella-like clothes drier or of a garden umbrella comprises a central tube and a folding frame, which carries a clothesline or a covering. A flexible sheath is provided, which is adapted to be slipped over the folding frame when it is collapsed. The flexible sheath may be sacklike (closed at one end and open at the other) and in that case may be accommodated in the central tube when the same is open-topped, or in a storage container, which is open-topped and is parallel to and extends beside the central tube. Alternatively the sheath may be tubular (open at both ends) and accommodated in a storage container which concentrically surrounds the lower portion of the central tube. The sacklike sheath can be pulled out of the central tube or the juxtaposed storage container at its top end and over an upwardly convex, annular guiding hood and can then be slipped from above over the collapsed folding frame.

  • Patent number: 4676381
Abstract: A clothes drying apparatus comprises a tubular post and a collapsible spider assembly supported on the tubular post. The spider assembly comprises an upper sleeve mounted on the post, a lower, slidable sleeve mounted on the post for displacement with respect to the upper sleeve, an array of collapsible main arms each having a free, outer end and an opposite inner end pivoted to the lower, slidable sleeve, a like array of auxiliary arms having their respective ends pivoted to the upper sleeve and the main arms, and a clothesline passing through openings in the main arms. A detachable clamping device at the outermost openings in the main arm adjacent the free, outer end thereof releasably retains the clothesline emerging from each opening, the clamping device comprising means for deflecting lengths of the clothesline emerging from each opening towards the main arm and clamping the deflected clothesline lengths against the main arm.

  • Patent number: 4622797
Abstract: A webbed panel unit having two facings bordered at its edges by sections which abut at an angle to each other. Two abutting sections are connected to each other and to the double-faced webbed panel by a two-legged corner angle member, which is disposed in a cutout of the double-faced webbed panel. The legs of the angle member extend in and snugly conform to the ends of the two sections. The two facings of the webbed panel unit have edge portions which protrude into the sections. At least at one end of each section each edge portion is disposed in between the corner angle member and the adjacent inside surface of the section.
