Abstract: A frame assembly for picture displays includes support frame elements that have support surfaces on an interior side for supporting a flexible picture carrier. A clamping frame element is pivotally mounted on the support frame element and will move from an open position wherein the picture carrier can be placed onto the support surface, to a closed position in which a portion of the clamping frame element forces the flexible picture carrier toward a recessed flange to create a tension in the picture carrier. A cam tensioning element is used for holding and locking the clamping frame element in its closed position. The cam can be made adjustable if desired.

Abstract: A light box particularly adapted to back-light posters which includes a housing having a back wall, a peripheral wall and an opening opposite the back wall; a diffuser panel spanning the opening, an elongated lamp within the housing adjacent the peripheral wall for emitting radiation from the lamp peripherally inward toward the back wall and the diffuser panel, and first and second reflector surfaces respectively adjacent and more remote from the lamp with the first reflector surface having reflecting capabilities which are less then the reflecting capabilities of the second reflector surface. The lamp has material contiguous thereto for preventing emitted radiation directed from the lamp directly toward the diffuser panel from impinging upon the diffuser panel whereby bright spots on the back-lit poster are eliminated and the poster is back-lit uniformly over its area.

Abstract: The disclosure is directed to an advertising stand defined by a pedestal and a frame, the pedestal including a pair of legs bridged by a strut and the frame being adapted to receive therein a poster or the like, a pair of L-shaped brackets carried by the strut and a pair of generally vertically disposed brackets carried by the frame, the frame and strut brackets having sandwiched therebetween elastomeric bodies for torsionally elastically connecting the frame to the pedestal whereby the frame is adapted to assume a tilted position relative to the pedestal by elastic deformation of the elastomeric bodies due to the force of wind or the like.
