  • Patent number: 9874404
Abstract: An exhaust gas heat exchanger includes at least one diffuser for feeding and/or discharging an exhaust gas flow, an exchanging region including exchanging tubes which extend in an axial direction and which are connected to a base at one end, and a housing through which a cooling agent can flow and which is made of a material that is non-resistant to high temperatures. A connecting element is partly embedded in the housing in order to secure the connecting element to the housing. The connecting element is bonded to the base in a first bonding region and the base is bonded to the diffuser in a second bonding region.

  • Patent number: 8967235
Abstract: Disclosed is a heat exchanger, especially an exhaust gas heat exchanger, comprising a housing (101, 201, 301, 401, 501, 601, 702, 801, 901, 1101, 1401, 1501, 1901, 2001, 2101, 2201) which can be penetrated by at least one first medium (M1) and at least one second medium (M2), and at least one sealing element (213, 607, 707, 906, 1006, 1011, 1411, 1506, 2205). At least one flow means (217, 1507, 1507a, 1508, 1904, 2005, 2105, 2206, 2206a, 2206b), around which the second medium flows, is provided inside the housing, said flow means improving heat transfer from the first medium to the second medium.

  • Patent number: 8720534
Abstract: The invention relates to a heat exchanger, particularly for a motor vehicle, comprising a plurality of exchanger tubes (3) attached to at least one floor for conveying a first fluid, wherein the exchanger tubes (3) are disposed in a housing through which a second fluid flows, wherein a holding member (5) is disposed inside the housing, wherein at least two of the exchanger tubes (3) are supported relative to one another by means of the holding member (5).

  • Publication number: 20120305220
Abstract: An exhaust gas heat exchanger, in particular for a motor vehicle, is provided that includes at least one diffuser for feeding and/or discharging an exhaust gas flow; an exchanging region comprising exchanging tubes which extend in an axial direction and which are connected to a base at one end; a housing through which a cooling agent can flow and which is made of a material that is non-resistant to high temperatures, in particular plastic or aluminum. The aim of the invention is to provide an exhaust gas heat exchanger that is simply constructed and inexpensive to produce. This is achieved in that a connecting element is partly embedded in the housing in order to secure the connecting element to the housing, the connecting element being bonded to the base in a first bonding region, said base being bonded to the diffuser in a second bonding region.
